Balance your Chakras – THE CHAKRA DIARIES – Free on Kindle Today

Balance your Chakras, Balance your  Sex Life!

Do you want to spice up your sex life or feel more passionate, graceful and creative? Unblocking your Sacral or 2nd Chakra may be the key. It is an especially important chakra for women to keep in balance, connecting you to your passion and to the Divine Feminine.

There are seven major chakras in our energy field that each affect our emotional and physical health in a different way. Two characters in The Chakra Diaries have unbalanced Sacral Chakras – one, a woman in her forties, Deborah has lost her libido, the other, Sarah, a young woman, is both unsure of her sexual orientation and promiscuous. Chakra balancing brings them back to a space of confidence and creativity where they are better able to trust their feminine intuition and make true love connections.

Here’s a short excerpt from Deborah’s diary, in which her libido comes alive:

Alright, I was frustrated with the new software package and didn’t want to buzz my assistant again for help. So I retreated to my emails. There it was. The type should have been in bright orange…

“Bon Jour, Blonde Goddess” read the subject line. Delete or open, that was the decision at my fingertips. Liking “goddess” rather than “dried up old crone,” I decided to open, hoping it wasn’t another offer for penile enlargement drugs at a discount.

The text didn’t disappoint. It described how the sender, whose return address was TantricOne, had dreamt of me the night before and had awoken in a tangle of sweaty sheets, his body having made a promise that his mind must fulfill. He knew how to write a love scene, describing in luscious detail how he had started kissing the tip of my perfect nose, pausing for the briefest caress at my full, sensuous lips down the slope of my silky white throat, into that heart throb of deep cleavage awaiting him between my bountiful breasts, skating the circle of creation that formed my navel, then tracing the contours of each heavenly hip bone before licking the smooth-downed valley of my stomach…. and then, he woke up.

OK, that was me paraphrasing a two-page dreamscape from a master writer. Me, the owner of the dead second chakra, now had small drops of sweat pooling in my deep cleavage, tingles in the area below my smooth, flat stomach, and a shortness of breath that could only mean I was turned on or having my first hot flash.

My assistant came in, looking over my shoulder in her nosy way, to remind me of my 10 am meeting, and I pressed “delete” before her eyes could focus on the sultry text on the screen.

Located at the lower abdomen, right at the cervix, the Sacral Chakra governs how we relate to others and the flow of our feelings and expression in art, music, dance and living. It is the seat of our sexuality, the pleasure chakra that turns us on and is considered by many to be the doorway into creation itself.

When this chakra is balanced, you can embrace creativity with open arms, whether it is expressed through dance, yoga, swimming, sex, singing praises to the Divine, painting to celebrate self-awareness, or cooking for your inner goddess.

Learn to Communicate with your Spirit Guides

“Keys to the Spirit World” simplifies the process of communicating with your spirit guides, who are always there to help you navigate your path through the physical world.

This book helps you use all the spiritual tools and gifts you were born with, but most likely forgot. As a child, you may have heard your spirit guide(s) through your “inner ear,” but blocked them out as you grew older and more conditioned by society’s rules of what is reality and what isn’t. This book is a breath of fresh air, saying “Yes, you can take guidance from your dreams, inner and outer voices, thoughts, and visualizations.” Plus, O’Neill offers guidance on how to relax and allow communication with your spirit guides to happen. She even includes exercises to help you tear down the walls to spirit communication.

I especially liked the section on chakras and their correlation to spirit communications. O’Neill explains how chakras, our energetic centers, allow information to be received from the spiritual realm. She takes you one by one through the chakras, with special emphasis on the Heart Chakra, which is elevated and expanded through higher consciousness, the Throat Chakra, used for channeling information during spirit communications, and the Third Eye Chakra, which opens you to clairvoyance and clear seeing.

The author shares some of her own experiences as a child growing up with psychic abilities and the sensations she felt in these chakra areas before she understood their relationship to the spiritual realm. And she offers 10 Tips for Working with your Spirit Guides, invaluable for anyone who wants to have a stronger connection to spirit and accept guidance on their path.

Have you tried automatic writing, dream journaling or spirit guide meditation? O’Neill offers advice on how to use these tools to connect with your spirit guides. She ends her short yet very comprehensive giude with common blocks to spirit communication and how to solve them.

Communicating with Spirit Guides is immensely valuable – this book gives you the tools you need to take advantage of what is offered to each and every one of us from the spiritual realm.

Fun Way to Learn About Chakras

Thanks to Lisa Erickson for her review of The Chakra Diaries. In upcoming Becca’s Blogs, I intend to feature other reviews of metaphysical fiction and non-fiction that you may want to add to your bookshelf or Kindle Reader.

Fun Way to Learn About How Chakra Imbalances Impact Our Overall Lives, January 6, 2012

The Chakra Diaries offers a fun, unique way to learn how the energy of the chakras manifests in our everyday lives, how imbalances may impact us, and how clearing and healing them can help us change ourselves and our situation. It’s a collection of excerpts from the fictional diary entries of several participants in a 12-week chakra workshop. They are asked by the instructor, Rebecca (who also has a chapter) to journal an overview of their lives up to this point, and then to document the changes in their lives that occur throughout the course of the workshop.

Each chapter is a different character’s diary, so of course all are told in the first person. The chapters are organized by chakra, from the root chakra up to the crown, featuring someone whose greatest block or imbalance lies in that particular chakra. The character’s lives begin to intertwine as they get to know each other, and they feature in each other’s entries. Some of the stories are quite dramatic, with pasts ranging from sexual abuse to being orphaned, while others are more low-key – dysfunctional families, unfulfilling careers, financial issues, or relationship woes. These themes are traced to corresponding blocks or imbalances in their chakras, and they begin to experience shifts as they both work through these issues in their lives, and do meditation and energy healing work on the chakras directly.

Someone new to the chakras will probably want to combine reading this with a non-fiction option, and/or with guided meditation CDs or audio files. Someone who already knows a bit about the chakras will appreciate this as way of exploring the ways chakra imbalances and blocks impact our actual lives. Some of the stories are very touching, and they are certainly never boring, so this is also a much more engaging way to explore the chakras than most non-fiction options.

The Chakra Diaries are available at www.Amazon.com and www.thechakras.org.

Finding New Meaning in Life

How do you find meaning and purpose in your life? Especially if you have lost a partner or friend or job and find a “whole” in your existence?

The answer is to focus on what you want to create and experience next to find meaning and satisfaction. Recognize your gifts and use them to make the world a better place for yourself and others.

Love all, be grateful for what you have, help others and have fun while doing it. Either find meaning in your work itself, or if not that, meaning in working for the love and betterment of our families and all people, and the world itself.

“If you are feeling bored or disconnected from life, then you have lost touch with your spirit and awareness of the many blessings and gifts God has given you. To cure boredom stop holding yourself back from life and take a risk. Take a chance and get involved in something bigger than you. Goodness knows the world has ample opportunities to choose from,” said Sonia Choquette in her recent “Heal Your Life” posting.

There are many opportunities to “connect,” which is the way to overcome spiritual malaise. Volunteering at a shelter or community garden, taking a class to learn a new skill, use your creativity in a new way or find balance in your life (perhaps yoga, meditation or chakra work), or joining a group whose purpose resonates with your heart and soul.

For example, The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers came into being in 2004 to help spread peace and promote healing.

Together, the Grandmothers unite ancient indigenous prayer lineages from around the world to create a sacred circle for blessing and healing. You can enter into a virtual circle with them for 3 nights the first week of October, 2011, in a circle that will call us into a spirit of reverence and personal and planetary healing.

A UNIQUE CHAKRA TEACHING TOOL

Just finished reading Rainbow Eyes: Chakramid Reflections.

Rainbow Eyes starts with a unique new way to look at and understand the chakras – with an introduction to the Chakramid, a pyramid of chakra energy with the Root Chakra forming a strong foundation, ascending up to the higher energy self in the Crown Chakra. It’s a wonderful way to quickly understand the properties and functions of our body’s energy centers.

The heart of the book is one woman’s self discovery as she journeys through the chakras, balances them and, in the process, recognizes her true path in life. She is able to remove the blocks that her unbalanced energy centers had previously placed in her way.

The book ends with more info on the 7 chakras and Chakramid Journal pages for you to record your own personal reflections. What a wonderful tool for self-discovery and growth! I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to find their life’s purpose, or simply to manifest their dreams more easily. As Mary Jo Shaffer writes, “How quickly something manifests depends upon the alignment of all of the Chakras.”

Avoid the #1 Relationship Killer

Relationship experts and Huna philosophers all think blame and criticism is the #1 reason why relationships fail. Most couples split up, family members stop talking or business partnerships fail because one or both of the parties gets tired of being blamed or criticized.

What is the best and quickest way to stop it?

When you’re blaming someone, what you’re really doing is pointing the finger at them and saying “Hah! It’s your fault. You’re wrong.” Then, that person typically comes back and says, “No, it’s your fault…” and this can go on in an endless loop.

When you catch yourself starting to blame or you’re having critical thoughts about your partner or colleague, make a pleasant “Hmmm….” sound. And what this does is it shifts you out of your “critical” brain into your “wonder” brain.

So, you can say to yourself, “Hmmm… I wonder what I could learn from this.” Or “Hmmm… I wonder how I’m contributing to this situation.”

When you do this, an immediate change takes place in your connection with the person you were previously blaming or criticizing.

Try this the next time you have a critical thought, and watch real miracles open up in your relationships! And of course, work on keeping your heart chakra open to love and compassion – listen to my free Chakra Meditation at http://www.thechakras.org.
